Eilola Logistics Oy is a respected lifting service company based in Porvoo, with service points in both Porvoo and Tornio, providing lifting and transport solutions across Finland and northern Sweden. The company’s high-quality fleet includes nearly 30 crane and vehicle units of various sizes and capacities, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations in a wide range of environments. Eilola has always focused on achieving optimal efficiency in its projects — each task is handled with the right-sized crane for the job.

This principle has made Hoeflon mini cranes, represented in Finland by Lifttek, an invaluable part of Eilola’s operations. In many projects, these compact machines successfully replace larger cranes and are also ideally suited for rental use.

Customer-First Philosophy and Continuous Development

Eilola Logistics has always prioritized service quality, promising its customers punctual, safe, and cost-efficient operations. Delivering on that promise requires continuous improvement, and Hoeflon cranes play a key role in maintaining Eilola’s high standards.

The compact size, power, and ease of use of the Hoeflon models have opened up a new market segment for Eilola, with excellent feedback from customers confirming the success of this expansion.

Hoeflon in Three Size Classes

Eilola’s CEO, Topi Rimpiläinen, and Head of Services, Ossi Vilenius, have closely monitored the performance of the Hoeflon cranes in demanding conditions.

“We first acquired Hoeflon’s larger fully electric C30e model, and the feedback from operators was very positive,” says Rimpiläinen.
“The crane is compact, with a transport width of just 1.2 meters and a height of 2.2 meters, which makes it easy to move and ideal for confined job sites where traditional cranes cannot fit. The maximum lifting capacity is 9,000 kilograms, and it can even move loads while driving.”

Rimpiläinen highlights the importance of electric operation:

“Naturally, electric drive is crucial — and its importance will only grow as environmental values become more prominent. Concerns about battery endurance have also proven unfounded; the Hoeflon can handle two full days of intensive work on a single charge, even in cold conditions.”

Vilenius continues:

“The excellent performance of the C30e encouraged us to expand our lineup this year with the smaller C6e and C10e models. This gives us a complete range of mini cranes suitable for a wide variety of customer needs. Their combination of power, user-friendliness, and safety has opened a completely new customer segment that can now perform demanding lifts efficiently and cost-effectively.”

Ideal for Rental Use

Thanks to their versatility and simplicity, Hoeflon mini cranes are well-suited for rental use — both for private individuals and companies.

“Hoeflons come well-equipped out of the box, and their advanced safety systems minimize the risk of accidents,” explains Vilenius.
“For example, the stabilizer legs have highly adjustable positions, and the precise onboard scale immediately alerts operators when approaching lifting limits. The jib9 and various adapters increase reach and flexibility, and the Multitool rotator has proven invaluable when working with forks, grabs, or vacuum lifters. The counterweight’s 80 cm adjustability also provides valuable extra clearance in tight spaces.
In addition, remote support offers added security, and job reports are easily accessible.”
“Due to their lightweight and compact size, even the smallest Hoeflon cranes can be transported with a regular trailer — though we also offer direct delivery to the customer’s site,” adds Vilenius.

Smart Design and Practical Features

Manufactured in the Netherlands, Hoeflon cranes are at the forefront of technological innovation, with careful attention to even the smallest details.

“It’s great to notice so many clever design features that improve day-to-day usability,” says Rimpiläinen.
“For instance, accessories such as adapters are neatly stored onboard, and rubber guards prevent accidental damage. Another major benefit is that many spare parts are compatible across all Hoeflon models — helping us keep our spare parts inventory small and efficient.”
“We’ve also followed customer satisfaction closely, and to put it simply — once someone uses a Hoeflon, they’ll ask for it again next time.
Lifttek also deserves praise: their training sessions have been thorough, and maintenance support has been available whenever needed.”

Vilenius adds:

“Overall, Hoeflon fits perfectly into Eilola’s philosophy and way of working — proving that smaller can indeed be better. It provides our customers with real cost savings and strengthens the long-term partnerships we build with them.”

Lifttek and Hoeflon – Partners in Progress

Juha Nurmi from Lifttek, who visited Eilola Logistics to hear their feedback firsthand, was pleased with the positive experiences.

“Eilola’s experience shows that mini cranes have clearly found their place in Finland’s lifting industry,” says Nurmi.
“The shift toward using more compact equipment is already well underway. Construction increasingly takes place in confined environments, and industrial maintenance often involves tight spaces as well.
Insights from leading companies like Eilola are extremely valuable — we pass this feedback directly to the manufacturer to further improve the products.”
“Our collaboration with Hoeflon has been seamless, and we’re excited about the upcoming new versions of the C6e and C10e, expected next year — featuring, among other things, an automatic leveling system,” Nurmi concludes.
